I have been trying to locate this property and recently June Koehn mentioned Pheasant Branch at bottom of hill from her house off College Street, in Rural
Hall. John Daniel Wall was born in Rural Hall as his descendants have recorded and the Rural Hall name was officially established in the 1880's
because of confusion of mail going to the 'Hall' or to Salem Hall. Leonard Moser's property and the Old Wagon Road which came from Germanton to
Bethaina was cut thru Bitting's property thru Ken Ray's property crossing College Street and evidence can be easily seen when walking down hill thru
woods between June Koehn and ____ Bodenhamer property.
( Leonard Moser's place which later bought by Bitting and when Bitting built his house the mail was sent to the rural Hall as not to get confused.
