Old Train Depot
The Depot opened for business on January 15, 1888;
however, the first railway was not completed until May 16,
1888.   When the first train came through rural Hall on June
20, 1888, rail service began here.  Rural Hall became a train
junction.  Serving Rural Hall were Southern, Atlantic, and
Yadkin, Cape Fear and Yadkin Valley Railroads.  The Depot is
now the Redding Railroad Museum.
This is Number 12 on the map.
